WWE and AE expand programming partnership


WWE announced today an expansion with the A&E Network commissioning 130 hours of new, original content for that will air exclusively on their platforms. Prior to this extension WWE found success on the A&E network with hit shows like WWE Legends and WWE's Most Wanted Treasures. Legends has received a 35 episode green light extension; Treasures will get 24 new episodes. A new series called WWE: Rivals is also in development and will chronicle little known to major feuds from WWE history receiving an amazing 40-episode order. “A&E is an amazing partner with an impressive lineup of signature series across its networks,” said Nick Khan, WWE President. “The expansion of our partnership will allow us to continue creating a massive slate of new content with a trusted partner, while further establishing A&E as a destination for WWE fans for years to come.”
