Ali in, Paige out on Smackdown

Last night on Smackdown saw the full-time return of Mustafa Ali, a hot commodity from 205 Live, to the blue brand. His matches on 205, Survivor Series loss to Buddy Murphy, and head to head match up with Daniel Bryan were all received with high praise from WWE officials and roster members. The comes on the heels of the McMahons vowing to shake things up in WWE. It was also announced that Paige will no longer be the General Manager of Smackdown as the McMahons and HHH will also replace her as the main authority role. No word yet on what her new role will be within the company but expect her be a major part of the publicity tour for the upcoming WWE Films Fighting with My Family - a movie based on Paige and her family - releasing in 2019.
