Dynamite Kid (1960 - 2018)

Born December 5 in Golborn, Lancashire, the Dynamite Kid, Thomas Billington was one of pro-wrestling's most athletic and innovative competitors. He debuted in 1975 and captured his first gold just two years later winning the British Lightweight Championship. He retired from the ring in 1996. His 20+ year career inspired an entire generation of pro-wrestlers and was spent winning championship and prestige while honing his craft in rings all over Europe, Japan, and North America. He was 60 years old.
