Willie Mack wins NWA National Title

Willie Mack's championship collection tour continues after winning the NWA National Championship by putting out Samuel Shaw at tonight's NWA 70th Anniversary show in Nashville, TN. The belt, which was vacated over a year ago, was redesigned and put up for grabs via a company tournament that saw Mack and Shaw win the right to challenge for the strap. Earlier in the evening both competitors won a fatal four way match to advance to the championship round. Willie Mack joins an outstanding list of wrestling royalty to hold the title including Austin Idol, Jack Brisco, Tommy Rich, Ted DiBiase, Larry Zbyszko and many others.
