Matt Hardy goes home

Matt Hardy announced on Twitter this evening that he is "going home". The 43 year-old future Hall of Famer posted the video above to his personal YouTube account saying he had finished his in-ring obligations and he will be spending time at home with his family. In early August, Hardy tweeted that his pelvis and lower back had started to fuse together. Later in the month at WWE's SummerSlam he tweeted again showing a move from in-ring competition to production staff. While it's not a certainty that we NEVER see Matt in the ring again it is safe to assume at this time that he may be on the shelf for the foreseeable future.
