Masanori Saito (1942 - 2018)

Former Olympian and Japanese pro-wrestler Masanori Saito has passed away at age 76 after complications from Parkinson's Disease. An international wrestling legend, Saito, captured gold at almost every major American wrestling promotion from the late 60s to the his retirement in 1999. Post-retirement he remained with NJPW as a commentator before moving on to talent management with the now defunct Diamond Ring wrestling promotion. He moved home to Tokyo in 2014.
