Big Van Vader (1955 - 2018)

The Round Table remembers Big Van Vader (Leon White) today and sends heartfelt condolences to his family. We were informed that Leon passed after battling penmounia. He had heart surgery in March and while he was making strides in his recovery it overcame him last night and he passed. A statement from his family will be made soon.

Vader was a worldwide fan favorite and is known for his work in and out of the ring with television appearances in some of the 90's most popular shows including Boy Meets and Baywatch. In addition to countless championships and wrestling accolades, White was also a successful football player with All American honors at the University of Colorado and even played for the LA Rams in the 70's making an appearance in Super Bowl XIV against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
