UPDATE: Impact Wrestling reportedly done with Del Rio, again

Long story short, Del Rio no showed the Impact vs Lucha Underground event that he was supposed to main event. In what seems to be an odd turn of events, Del Rio managed to make it to New Orleans, attended an Impact press conference, and was seen out in town enjoying the weekend but couldn't find time or forgot to make it to the event venue for the show on Friday. An announcement from Impact is forthcoming and it's not sounding good for the former champ. He was suspended this past summer and stripped of the title after allegation of domestic abuse. It is expected that Impact will announce his release.

4/7 - 10:33 PM : It was, they did. Impact also announced he will be replaced on the upcoming Redemption PPV. The Impact World Championship matches is now a triple threat: Aries vs Pentagon Jr. vs Fenix.
