Jinder Mahal's Opponent for India Tour Announced.
Today the WWE announced Jinder Mahal's opponent for their two-show tour of India this December.
While on the media tour promoting the upcoming tour, Mahal appeared on the set of WWE Sunday Dhamaal (a weekly Hindi-language program produced by the WWE) to reveal that Kevin Owens will challenge him for the WWE Championship to main event both shows.
The shows will both take place at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on December 8th and 9th. Despite it being a Raw-branded tour - Mahal, the Singh Brothers, and Owens will be appearing at them. Also advertised to appear are Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Sasha Banks, The Miz, Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Bayley.
An additional overseas show has been added for December 7th in Abu Dhabi. Mahal, the Singh Brothers, and Owens haven't been advertised for that event.
Plan on Mahal keeping the strap through the tour's end, however, the next SmackDown PPV will be Clash of Champions on December 17th followed by Survivor Series. I'm sure we'll find out what direction the title will go in the coming weeks.
